About the movie
The film tells the story of a group of geologists searching for crude oil in southern Poland. However, colleagues, who have a completely different nature, find it difficult to cooperate. Andrzej, the manager, is full of enthusiasm and ambition, but he is not quite coping with managing others. When subsequent drilling does not bring the expected results, the protagonist is ordered to stop further work. Unable to accept this decision, the manager sets fire to the local old windmill and resumes work. Eventually, he manages to discover the oil reservoir.
