Crimen

"Crimen" is a historical television series made in the 1980s. The action takes place in the 17th century, when the First Polish Republic was shaken by bloody and devastating wars with Sweden, Russia and Turkey. The word "crimen" means crime. The main character, Tomasz Błudnicki, returns from captivity to his home and learns that his father is dead, and that he died in mysterious circumstances. Błudnicki carries out a private investigation into his father's death. Although he would like to live in peace, away from armed fights, killings, and taking revenge for the deaths of his relatives, it is not given to him. In the film, we can see excellent shots of horse riding and hand-to-hand combat. The scenes were shot in Podkarpacie in the open-air museum in Sanok and in Odrzykoń near Krosno (the ruins of the "Kamieniec" castle were used as the seat of the Rosiński bandits).
