About the movie

At the beginning of the 20th century, in the territory of the Russian Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a young doctor conducted medical experiments with ether. He obsessively improves his knowledge about ether, which allows him to manipulate pain, desire and the will of his subjects.
