About the movie
During his trip to Lviv, Marcin meets Maria, with whom he had an affair during his studies. He discovers that he is the father of her eight-year-old son Michał. In the aftermath of a bandit attack, Maria dies in Poland and Marcin decides to take the boy with him. He does not want him to go to an orphanage, but when he considers it out loud, the boy learns about it and decides to flee to Ukraine. A film about awakening feelings, cultural interpenetration, and xenophobia.
