GREENFILMTOURISM at the GREEN FILM FESTIVAL

Małopolskie Centrum Kultury SOKÓŁ in Nowy Sącz, which is one of the organisers of the GreenFilmTourism project, has become a partner of the festival by virtue of an agreement with its organiser. As part of the cooperation undertaken, in accordance with the planned activities on 20.08.2022r. (7th day of the festival), the SOKÓŁ MCC organised a section of the cross-border FDK according to the following programme:

TENT HALL:

18:00 | GREEN FILM TOURISM - accompanying event

The screenings of the aforementioned films were enriched with verbal introductions prepared by Filip Nowak - an expert filmmaker.

The FDK section was also accompanied by a promotional stand for the project and an exhibition prepared by the project partners.    

On the last, 8th day of the festival, during the screenings of the festival winners, the project's promotional stand and exhibition were present in the tent hall, and the partners took care to distribute promotional gadgets and the project's newsletter.

Thanks to the opportunity to present the products of the GreenFilmTourism project so far, we were able to directly influence the dissemination and promotion of film cultural heritage among the numerous audiences of the Green Film Festival and the film people, media and experts who attended.  The coincidence of the name already generated interest. Joint participation in this highly appreciated and intensively promoted event in the patron media certainly contributed to the promotion of both the project itself and the film potential of the Polish-Slovak borderland, its uniqueness, uniqueness and diversity. All promotional activities undertaken during the event were aimed at making the participants curious, intrigued and interested in film tourism. The films were selected in such a way as to be able to bring up topics of importance to the participants in this particular event. In the case of 'The Big Animal', this was the issue of the use of animal actors in films, while 'Strawberry Wine' became a pretext for talking about the glories and shadows of slow life.
