We would like to invite you to a workshop on sustainable film production for representatives of the film and television production sector, which will be held on 24 September 2022 at the Regional Cultural Centre in Rzeszów from 10:00 to 14:00.
The aim of the workshop is to raise the level of awareness and knowledge of the participants and, as a result, to increase the activity of representatives of the audiovisual industry in planning and realising film, television or advertising works in the most environmentally neutral way possible. The workshop will address issues in the field of greenfilming, such as what sustainable development is, what its objectives are and how they are related to audiovisual production, what impact audiovisual production has on the environment, what environmental challenges accompany it and what principles to follow in the process of reducing the carbon footprint of production.
The workshop will be conducted by Dariusz Jabłoński - one of the more recognised Polish film producers ('Strawberry Wine', 'Pokłosie'), president of the Polish Film Academy, initiator of the Polish Film Awards Eagles, vice-president of the European Producers Club, member of the European Film Academy (EFA) and the Asia Pacific Screen Academy (APSA). Expert in audiovisual policy. Documentary and feature film director. Owner and head of Apple Film Production studio. Co-founder and, until 2004, first president of the National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers (KIPA). Co-founder and president of the Association of Independent Film and Television Producers until 2000.
