From 24 - 26 February 2023 in Herning, Denmark, the GreenFilmTourism Project team participated in the 25th anniversary International Travel Show FERIE FOR ALLE, which is Denmark's favourite meeting place for the holiday and tourism industry.

With one-to-one meetings, direct sales and extensive marketing on offer, for three days visitors were able to learn about infrastructure and leisure destinations from all over the world (including Thailand, Morocco, the Philippines and Spain) from carefully selected offers.

The event was organised on a grand scale. The stands of more than 1,000 exhibitors were divided between 14 exhibition halls ( 64,000 m²) with a variety of themes, including Foreign - Europe, charters and cruises; Foreign - international travel and destinations; Denmark, Outdoor, Bicycles for all and tents; Danish golf show; Marketplace - sales of camping accessories and equipment, etc.

FERIE FOR ALLE took its participants on a journey around the world through many different types of travel and activities from more than 50 different countries. In addition to face-to-face meetings, it offered a wide range of networking events to help reinforce knowledge about the development of the tourism industry.

Additional highlights included film screenings, demonstrations using a variety of travel equipment and cultural performances, as well as a variety of food and drink stalls.

In connection with participation in the event and as part of the promotion of the 'GreenFilmTourism' project, a national stand (Polish-Slovak) was organised in Hall M in cooperation with the Malopolska Tourist Organisation, presenting the Film Heritage Trail. The stand was divided into two zones:

- a promotional zone, where an exhibition, a showreel, advertising gadgets, a board game were presented and where information about the trail, the whole project and the Polish-Slovak borderland was provided. This part was equipped with a monitor, showreel, exhibition stand, FDK exhibition, banners concerning the project and the trail, director's chairs, flags and flags. In addition, the entire project team wore costumes made especially for the project. All promotional materials were branded with the INTERREG Poland-Slovakia and GFT logos,

- a tasting zone, where visitors were offered refreshments consisting of Polish and Slovakian regional products.

During the FERIE FOR ALLE, the Project Team promoted the cross-border film trail as an extremely interesting tourist attraction for three fair days from 9.00 - 17.00. The film database and a showreel encouraging visitors to visit the film locations attracted great interest. The stand was visited by both individual tourists requesting the preparation of a tourist offer along the film trail, as well as representatives of travel agencies looking for interesting travel options for their clients. Visitors praised above all the opportunity to make new contacts in one place and at one time, the very good organisational preparation, as well as the choice of film tourism themes.

According to the organiser's official figures, 129 journalists visited the fair, writing for Denmark's most popular magazines. The GreenFilmTourism stand hosted nearly 40 of them, including Jens Mørch, who has been writing about Poland for years and who runs the tourist and information portal polennu.dk, which attracts the attention of many Danes.

This year's edition of the Danish Travel Show attracted more than 56,000 visitors to its 14 halls. Although Herning is not the largest Danish city, the fair held there is the largest holiday fair in Scandinavia and has been a favourite with Danes for many years. As such, it is regarded as very important on the map of tourism industry activity.

Thanks to the opportunity to present the products of the "GreenFilmTourism" project, we were able to directly influence the dissemination and promotion of film cultural heritage in the cross-border area and at the same time foster the development of film tourism. Our joint participation in an event of international rank certainly contributed to the promotion of the development potential of the Polish-Slovak cross-border area, its uniqueness, uniqueness and diversity, thus increasing its impact.
