We would like to invite representatives of the media, tour operators and bloggers to a study visit along the film route. We will show you charming corners of the Silesian, Lesser Poland and Podkarpacie regions, known from film images. We will present film curiosities enriched with magnificent and unique views, all in the company of a film historian and animator of film culture. The total cost of participation in the visit is free of charge. Due to the limited number of places, please register your wish to participate by 26.08.2022 at: pdaczkowska@arrsa.pl.

The visit will be led by editor Maciej Gil, born in 1981 in Krakow. Historian of cinema and animator of film culture. Programme director of the Cinema at the Border Film Review in Cieszyn/Czech Cieszyn, co-organiser of the European Express IFF in Kiev (Ukraine), the Summer Film Academy in Zwierzyniec and other film events. Vice-chairman of the Council of the Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs, for several years also representative of the Central and Eastern European Group in the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Film Clubs. Associated with the Agrafka Group in Krakow, as part of which he runs DKF Rozięci, organises special film events and edits "X. Informator Kin Studiów" (12 000 copies in print). Expert of the National Film Archive. He received the Polish Film Institute Award twice: in 2010 for a film discussion club and in 2013 for an international film event. He has been a juror at, among others, the Karlovy Vary IFF (Czech Republic), the Gdynia Film Festival, the Krakow Film Festival, the Jeden svet IFF in Bratislava (Slovakia), the Neisse Filmfestival in Zittau (Germany), Cinema Petpetuum Mobile in Minsk (Belarus). He occasionally writes about film history ('EKRANy', 'Kino', 'Tygodnik Powszechny', 'X. Informator Kin Studiów", Stopklatka.pl), sometimes he speaks about it (as a speaker at film clubs and film educator). He lives, works and feels best in Central Europe.
