We would like to invite you to a seminar for tourist guides, institutions protecting cultural and natural heritage, during which we will present a new tool for promoting the region, which may be useful for you by providing information and materials helpful in your work.
Let's meet on 13 May at 11.00 a.m. in the Town Hall Hall room of the Galician Town in Nowy Sącz (ul. Lwowska 226).
GreenFilmTourism is a project that was created to promote a specific value that strengthens the tourist attractiveness of the Polish-Slovak border region. It is the film heritage. There is a wealth of productions that use the region's assets, such as the beauty of the landscape and nature, the wealth of historical monuments, the colourful diversity of the living culture, as well as the extraordinary meanders of the history of these lands and the magical aura of the legends circulating here.
We want to share a systematic knowledge of the film heritage. For enthusiasts, there will be a detailed database; for tourists visiting our borderland, there will be a proposal for a trail where places associated with the film or its makers sit alongside a host of other unique attractions.
During the seminar, we will present this new tool and also talk to Joanna Krauze de Lendofrr (Kos - Krauze) - an outstanding director who has used the region's assets in her films more than once. And these were not only landscapes and buildings, but also characters and stories associated with Małopolska. We will also visit the town and open-air museum through the eyes of the filmmaker.
