"Čierne mesto"

The medieval character of the town of Levoča and its interesting atmosphere inspired many filmmakers. The historic town hall in Levoča is also captured in the series "Čierne mesto". The scenes were filmed on her balcony and in the middle of the town hall. The fair was held on the west side of the Majstra Pavla square - tenement houses at No. 42, from where the view of the town hall is captured.

"Jánošík"

In the movie "Jánošík" we hear the well-known phrase: "We will meet at the fair in Levoča." Several shots in the film come from places such as the inn in the town hall and among the stalls at the market in front of the town hall. The pub, the interior of which can be seen in the shot, no longer exists in the given place. The film also shows a view of the town hall building.
