A place in the movie
Historical and contemporary films were shot in Rzeszów. The series 1920. Wojna i miłość was filmed, among others, in the old streets around Market Square. The Market Square itself, 3-go Maja Street and several nearby streets will be recognised in the contemporary films for young people Władcy przygód. Stąd do Oblivio and Bobry. The Monument to Revolutionary Struggles, characteristic of Rzeszów, and the PKS bus station were used in the film Korowód. Today's renovated buildings in the area of Garncarski Square can be seen in the state before renovation in the series from the 1980s entitled Popielec. The modern G2A Arena was used in the Indian film Mersal. In the film Pętla we can see many drone shots of Rzeszów - mainly the Market Square and the roundabout next to the Monument to Revolutionary Struggle. At the "Stal" stadium and the swimming pool at Matuszczaka Street, the film Żużel was shot. The Rzeszów cemetery was also the location for the filming of the funeral scene of Stefcia, the eponymous 'Leper'.
