A place in the movie
The market square in Rzeszów is located in the centre of the Old Town; its main building is the Town Hall. In the central part of the Market Square, there is a historic well, next to the statue of Tadeusz Kościuszko. We can recognize the charming streets of Rzeszów and the Market Square in the adventure film Władcy przygód. Stąd do Oblivio.The opening credits of the film were recorded in Rzeszów - Franek rides his BMX bike through Market Square, Kościuszko Street and 3rd Maja Street. The market also appears in another scene - the Science Festival of Young Inventors is held here and the mayor of the city presents awards. Fleeing from the Headhunters, the protagonists drive their car into stalls and stands. In the crowd, we can see the Rzeszów Girls' Orchestra of Szałamaistes and Majorettes "Incanto" and the band Bandoska. The film Pętla about the Podkarpackie scandal shows the Rzeszów Market Square from a bird's eye view - the shot of the Old Town illuminated in the evening is repeated several times in the film.
