Description of the place
A place in the movie
The town of Sanok is a very popular place for filming historical productions, as it is home to the Folk Architecture Museum, whose wooden secular and religious buildings have been shown in many feature films and several TV series - "Ether", "Polish Siberia", "Wolyn", "Eye of the Prophet", "Spring 1941", "Golden Train", "1920. War and Love', 'Wataha', 'Droga', 'Flisacy', 'Crimen', 'When Death Grows Into Life', 'Time of the Forest Couriers', 'Wieleżyński - the Alchemist from Lviv', 'Łukasiewicz - the Oilman Romantic', 'As in Heaven, So in Komańcza', 'Peasant Complaint'. The second episode of the "Droga" series shows drivers picking up new Autosan H-9 vehicles from the Sanok Bus Factory and driving them to Warsaw. The railway station in Sanok played a role in the film "Serce serduszko" - Maszeńka and Kordula are waiting there for a train on which they want to reach the other end of Poland, for the entrance exam to the ballet school. The reconstruction of Zdzisław Beksiński's Warsaw studio, located in the Historical Museum, was used as a model for the set design of the film 'The Last Family'. The film 'From the Inside', edited exclusively from archival materials of the Beksinski family, in addition to a detailed record of life in Warsaw, takes us to places visited by the Beksinskis, including their hometown Sanok.
