The first mention of Ustroń comes from 1305. In the old days, it used to be a small highlander village, now it is a health resort, perfectly prepared to welcome tourists of all ages and with different needs. It has suitable conditions for relaxation, mountain hiking, skiing, cycling, and other sports.
A place in the movie
Undoubtedly, the landscape values of Ustroń were used as a background in the films "Jurek", “Senność” ["Drowsiness"] and "Na szlakach Beskidu Śląskiego" ["On the Trails of the Silesian Beskids"]. Beautiful panoramas, picturesque trails and interesting nature emphasize the undoubted charm of the location. The unique nature of Ustroń is also evidenced by the fact that many of the facilities remain unchanged and are very suitable for making original film productions.
