Zatwarnica, Kino Końkret
Lokacja szczegółowa
A place in the movie
The current Końkret cinema building is the former site of Horse Park No. 7. Bieszczady-themed films have been made here in the past. ''Free Saturday'' and ''Password'' relate directly to the work of the horse-pack wagoners, while in the film ''Detour Cinema'' the protagonist comes from Rzeszów to the Bieszczady to organise a film screening for the plant's employees. These films were based on the work of Jerzy Janicki, for whom the Bieszczady were a second home.
Kino Końkret was established out of love for cinema and the Bieszczady. It is located in a restored wooden stable building - one of the elements of the former Horse Park No. 7 in Zatwarnica. The soft couches and wood surroundings create a unique environment for watching iconic Bieszczady films.
"Free Saturday", "Detour Cinema" and "Password" are films that were filmed on this very site.
The building also houses a permanent exhibition on the history of the Horse Park, the work of the coachmen, a dendrological path and the "Na Dwie Ręce" art studio. Here you can find a "horse manual", horse nameplates and the spirit of the wild Bieszczady, because Zatwarnica is far from commercialism. It is a village where the road ends and time stops, full of silence and greenery. The wooden, timber-framed stable building, which used to be the setting for films, has become a place where artists and all those who appreciate originality and culture are drawn to. The cinema houses a permanent exhibition on the history of the horse park, a dendrological trail and the artist's studio "Na Dwie Ręce".
