Today, the world-famous musical ensemble, which was founded in 1982, is the group of the Much brothers from Terchova, which is known under the name Folk Music of the Much Brothers in Europe (they have performed in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, Yugoslavia, Portugal, Luxembourg), Iraq, Australia, South America (Argentina) and on the Asian continent (Taiwan). Their main task is the presentation of Janosik's native region, but at a high level of interpretation they represented the culture of Slovakia in general. In their work they strive for modern elements and experimentation, taking into account unique folk traditions. This unique Terchov musical style is complemented by unconventionally adapted musical instruments, which may be the reason why they produce such a beautiful rich sound. They play and sing loudly, but perfection in their work was only acquired through years of studying the music and customs of their old Terkhov compatriots, whom they visited and learned musical techniques and songs from. In this way they managed to preserve their unique musical style, but also a lot of beautiful folk music, which they preserved for the next Slovak generation, thus doing a great service to all of us.

All members of the Mucha Brothers Folk Music deserve great admiration and recognition for the presentation of Slovakia at home and abroad. Of course, there is also an individual in this ensemble whose significant contribution in the field of preserving folk tradition, culture and folklore exceeds the other members of the ensemble. Alojz Mucha, as a member of the Terchov Hall of Fame, represents his region and the whole of Slovakia not only as a musician, but also as a woodcarver whose works decorate many parts of the region.
