Three hundred years ago Ondrusz Szebesta, also known as Ondraszek, returned from a brigand's expedition to Silesia. In Zabrzeg, where there was a ferry crossing over the Vistula, he and his companions stopped at a ferryman's house where they decided to have a feast. Summer was in full swing, and a warm moonlit night illuminated the peaks of the Beskids.

Ondraszek ordered the ferryman to lower the boat onto the water, which he decided to take downstream together with the young harnas of Dziedzic - Walenty Jarczok. They reached the Dziedzic crossing, and there Ondraszek said that they would build a new dwelling there, as it was close to Silesia, and the vast marshes and forest would shield them from prying eyes.

At the mouth of the Iłownicy River into the Vistula, Walenty Jarczok, harnasie and industrious highlanders were to build a large house and a mill on the Iłownicy River. However, the hard work of building the settlement bored Walenty Jarczok, who valued robbery more than carpentry. He did not last long and set out to attack the rich noblemen's manors, which ended in his capture and death.

Ondraszek spent many years in a new habitat, which the brigands called Młyńczyska. They would set off from it to the rich manors and return with their loot, some of which they distributed to the village poor.

But a terrible thing happened. Once upon a time one of the robbers, Juraszek, betrayed Ondraszek and was executed in 1715. After his death, the harnasie dispersed into the Beskydy forests and Slovakian mountains. Only ailing brigands remained in Młyńczyce until the day when torrential rains raised the water in the rivers and a great flood set in. The rushing Vistula first flooded the hut and then the mill, which were carried downstream to the sea. All that remains of the Mill is legend.
