The SPIŠ region is sought after by visitors not only for its historical value. It offers a lot of interesting things in the field of natural beauty, as there are various hiking trails that take people to unusual places and offer beautiful views of landmarks.

From the higher hills to the smaller ones, each has its own charm and varying difficulty to climb. All trails are marked with hiking signs so even the less experienced hiker won't get lost on them. All he needs is a backpack with water and some snacks, sturdy shoes and a good mood.

If a hiker wants to see nice views, but does not want to climb high hills, it is recommended to climb Ostrá Hora. The ascent through the beech forest is interrupted in places by a scree slope and the summit is formed by a flat rather large plateau providing views of Spiš Castle and the surrounding area. In the distance it is possible to see the peaks of the Tatra Mountains.

The most prominent peak in the Slovak Paradise is Havrania skala. The climb to its summit is more difficult, it goes through a steep rocky environment, but the view from it is worth it. It offers views of most of the Slovak Paradise, the High Tatras and, under the right conditions, also of Kralova Hora. As a bonus, Havrania Skala also offers a hidden cave.

The most visited place with a beautiful view is the Tomášovský vívek. It is a rock outcrop of a terraced shape with a height of 40 metres. The ascent through the forest is easy and offers views of the surroundings on the way. From the top you can see the High Tatras, the valley of the White Stream and the Hornád gorge. The Tomášovský View is also one of the most popular climbing areas.

In addition to the above mentioned views, it is also possible to find in the area less known but equally beautiful views of the nature of the Slovak Paradise, the High Tatras or the Hornád Basin.
