The quarry in Bóbrka near Solina, which is closed today, was once one of the largest in the Bieszczady Mountains. Situated on the slopes of Koziniec Mountain, it is an excellent viewpoint on the Solina dam, approx. 5 km away. In the film "Enduro bojz" the last scenes of the film were filmed in the quarry in Bóbrka. Kuba and Ewa, sleeping in the tent, are woken up in the morning by an incoming police helicopter. They are surrounded by anti-terrorists who are trying to arrest Kuba. The quarry was a great place to film a spectacular escape on a motorbike. The geographic location of the high-altitude quarry made it possible to film a spectacular scene in which the helicopter appears as if from below the ground. Aerial photos show the quarry and the neighbouring Zalew Myczkowski. The raw landscape of the quarry in Bóbrka was also used in the second season of the series "Wataha" [”the Border”]. For the film, retorts were erected there - huge furnaces in which charcoal is fired in the Bieszczady Mountains. A gruesome crime took place there - the bodies of illegal refugees were found in the retorts.
