Jasná is one of the most famous ski resorts. It is located in the Low Tatras, in the NAPANT National Park, in areas such as Chopok (third highest mountain), Ďumbier (highest mountain), Kosodrevina and many others. It is its diversity, where every skier can find something for himself, that makes it so famous. It offers a total of 50 km of slopes and 23 lifts. Therefore, you can plan a day trip for skiing or hiking. Hikers can enjoy the beauty of Liptov or go to the Demänovská Valley.
The area around the Low Tatras, especially the Jasná resort, offers a lot of entertainment, active recreation and of course beautiful nature that attracts not only tourists but also filmmakers. Scenes for the films "Powieść dla mężczyzn" and "Wszystko albo nic" were shot here. Most of the shots for both films were made directly on the ski slopes that Jasna is famous for. In both films, the directors wanted to charm the viewers with beautiful panoramas of the beautiful nature of the Low Tatras, because they placed the main characters in several shots from the cable cars going to the slopes of Chopok.
