A place in the movie
The beauty of the Tatra nature enchanted the director Julius Matula, who filmed scenes from the fairy tale "Nebojsa" above the Popradské pleso near the Tatra Highway. In 2016, the actress Vica Kerekes filmed the Czech film "Then in Paradise", which depicts the life of the legendary mountaineer Josef Smítek. The last part of the Sci-Fi series "Fallen from the Clouds" depicts the nature of the Mengusov valley, where journalists follow the mysterious Majka from the planet Gurun by car. The three friends in the film "The Copper Tower" walk through the Mengusovska valley towards the Lost Valley to the hut. In this location, a loose sequel to the film called "Eagle Feather " was also filmed. The story of the talking dragon with a headache and the children in the fairy tale "When the dragon has a headache" was filmed in the Mengusov valley. The roadmovie "With you I enjoy Slovakia" captures the beauty of Popradské pleso in the Mengusov valley.
