Jerguš Lapin

A ballad about a boy from mountain solitude who lost his father. He was a bandit and was killed by gendarmes. For Jergus, a nature-loving boy, this means the end of the playtime because he has to work for a living. First with rich peasants, then in a nearby factory. However, human cruelty and injustice force him to act rashly, and like his father, he flees into the mountains to escape the gendarmes. The film was based on the novel Zbojnícka mladnost' / The Robber's Youth by Ludo Ondrejov.
