About the movie
A fairy tale depicting the events of the 15th century, which culminate in the revolt of the petty peasantry against the nobility led by the knight Roland of Markušovce. Against the backdrop of social events, the love story of Roland and the Polish Countess Anna, who is taken by her father to Spiš to marry the king's favourite, is also depicted. However, her heart, along with Spiš Castle, already belongs to Roland.
