About the movie
A costume adventure film set in the 17th century.
The tenant of a country inn, Marek Bystry, has to get money to pay off the lease debt, he goes with a merchant caravan to Turkey to get the money he needs. His wife and son - teenage Hanusz - stay in the country.
The boy became the involuntary owner of a priceless diamond called the "eye of the prophet". Many people try to plunder the treasure, the heroes get into more trouble and experience many dramatic adventures.
