About the movie
Short film made by Maciej Kawalski with an all-star cast including Zbigniew Zamachowski, Henryk Thaler and Jerzy Szejba. The year is 1914 and Paul Arnheim (Zbigniew Zamachowski) makes a barter deal to exchange ships for 10 million cans. Unfortunately, it turns out that the ships are not fit to sail and the canned goods are not fit to eat. The 10 million canned goods are a treacherous commodity that must be disposed of. The possibility is to mobilise the army. A war has to be brought about. The plan succeeds, but the army forces a deal - a donation of tinned food in exchange for an order. The alternative solution is... their confiscation. Meanwhile, the war begins.
