About the movie
The film tells the story of Jerzy, a writer from Krakow, who is an alcohol addict. The protagonist has a chance to win against his addiction when he meets a young girl whom he falls in love with. Unfortunately, it turns out that even this feeling cannot get him out of alcoholism. After more days of excessive drinking, Jerzy is taken to the intensive care unit and then straight to a detox treatment. Together with other patients, he takes part in therapy which consists of reading previously written stories from the times when they were drinking.
