About the movie
A 6-episode series based on the film "Magnat". Contrary to the film “Magnat”, full of retrospect, the action of the series takes place chronologically, between 1900 and the period after World War II. The film tells the story of the von Teuss family (identical to the owners of Pszczyna, the von Pless family) in the background of the events of the Silesian Uprisings, the crisis of the 1930s, contacts of family members with the Nazis and the nationalization of the palace. It shows the struggle for power, money and happiness against the background of historical changes.
