A place in the movie
The Porąbka Dam was shown as the setting in the film "Historia współczesna" ["Contemporary Story"]. In the scene of the conversation between Jerzy (Adam Pawlikowski) and Bożena (Zofia Słaboszowska), 37-meter-high trigger chambers can be seen in the background, which makes it look extremely impressive and elegant. Another interesting thing is the fact that it was built according to the design of Gabriel Narutowicz.
