Located in the Olkusz area, the Mining and Metallurgical Plant "Bolesław" (ZGH Boleslaw) was used in the filming of scenes for the film Katastrofa by Ryszard Ber, in which two colleagues set out to rescue a group of miners trapped in a mine.
