Slovak Paradise, Piecky Gorge
Lokacja szczegółowa
A place in the movie
The Piecky National Nature Reserve is a limestone gorge covering 245 hectares. There are three waterfalls in the gorge: the Great Waterfall, the Cascades and the Terrace Waterfall, and the Píľanka stream flows through it. The crossing of the gorge is one-way and takes approximately 2 hours. The filmmakers of Eragon chose this location because of its natural wealth - rich forest and rock walls, as well as its exceptional romantic, quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
