Description of the place
Wara is a village in Poland, located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, on the border of the Dynów Foothills and the Przemyskie Foothills. The town, whose documented history dates back to the 14th century, has an agricultural character. Wara is situated on the San River, over which there is an interesting rope bridge connecting Wara with the town of Siedliska. The main frame of the structure is made of four metal poles and steel ropes. The footbridge is used for pedestrian crossing and two-wheeled vehicles.
A place in the movie
The hanging bridge in Wara was chosen by the creators of the film Serce Serduszo to shoot several scenes - on the bridge and with the bridge in the background.
