Zeniac is an elderly bachelor living with his mother looking for a suitable girl to marry. Staszek has the opinion of a drunkard. He runs a farm together with his mother. He chooses his future wife from a newspaper photo. Since she is not coming, he keeps looking, increasingly frustrated by the long bachelor status and the attitudes of the neighbours towards him. A widow with five children, a girl from disco, a matchmaking agency - he still can't find his significant other. It seems that Staszek's expectations do not match women’s possibilities and dreams. Finally, a beautiful blonde from a personal ad writes back to him.
