Description of the place
Żywiec Beskids is an extremely interesting region located in southern Poland, on the border of the Śląskie and Małopolskie provinces. It belongs to the most picturesque mountain ranges in Poland. In the valleys, there are villages with traditional folk architecture, including Zawoja, Rajcza, Zwardoń. The main attractions are the peaks and halls of extraordinary natural and scenic values.
A place in the movie
The beauty and wildness of the Żywiec Beskids’ nature have served the filmmakers as the scenery of the filmed pictures several times, including the films "Sprawa się rypła", "Żeniac" or "Oh, Karol 2". Vast landscapes and picturesque scenery of the location are visible in numerous outdoor shots of these productions and take us to the folk corners of southern Poland.
