About the movie
A documentary film by Piotr Biedroń showing the 110-year history of the clock in the town hall tower in Nowy Sącz and the related history of the city. The protagonists of the film are members of the Dobrzański family from Nowy Sącz, who since the creation of the clock, i.e. 1901, to this day are in charge of it. Jan Dobrzański came to the city at the request of the councillors from Nowy Sącz and opened his watchmaker's shop there. Then, his son Henryk, and now his grandson Jan, maintain and wind up the mechanism of the clock in Nowy Sącz.
