A place in the movie
The old rectory building can be seen in the shots from the film. It was demolished in 1986 and nowadays coniferous trees are planted in its place, which complete the colour of the village. The rectory served its purpose for 120 years. The new rectory, which was built in the 1980s, does not appear in the film footage. The scene where richtár Forčiak comes with a carriage to the church past the house of notary Okolický.
