Sanok, skwer Zieleniec Beksińskiego
Lokacja szczegółowa
A place in the movie
The square named Zieleniec Beksińskiego is the place where the family home of the famous painter Zdzisław Beksiński once stood. It was a wooden manor house from the first half of the 19th century, demolished in 1979. An oak dedicated to Beksiński now grows there.
In the film 'From the Inside', the square is pointed out by Zofia Beksińska as the site of the former family home, archival footage with Zofia and Zdzisław Beksiński against the background of a wooden veranda overgrown with vegetation and their photographs of their son Tomek with his grandmother are shown.
Interesting fact: The view of the non-existent house was painted in the form of graffiti on the wall by the Serpentine Steps, which depart from 3 Maja Street in Sanok.
