Vlkolínec, meadow Horný diel

A place in the movie
For filmmakers, the village of "Vlkolínec" is attractive mainly thanks to the preserved traditional folk architecture in the form of wooden houses, which can be admired by tourists even today. An equally important reason for filming the scenes from the movie "Fly Bird, Fly" is the beautiful surrounding countryside, which appears in the panoramic shots from the film. A well-known scene from the film was shot in the meadow in the 'Upper Part', where the pupils have to work off their misdemeanour by raking the grass. In the shot that was filmed in the village area, you can see "Vlkolínec".
