About the movie
A comedy film with a sports focus about how two suitors try to win over a girl during winter fun. The conventionally presented story relies on predictable plots, helps itself with shots of snow-covered mountains and adds a nationalisation motif that nods to the freshly imposed political changes. Nevertheless, critics of the time denounced the film as a demeaning entertainment of pre-war management.

- According to Ondrej Jariabek's recollections, two thirds of the film was shot before the nationalization (in 1947) and the film was completed after the nationalization (in 1948).
- The story of the film was adapted; the owner of the ski factory lost his factory to nationalisation.
- The actress Klára Omiliaková emigrated during the filming.
