About the movie
A sports drama from the eighties. Anna, a young sprinter, becomes a member of the Centre of Top Sports. Her mother and coach hope that she will meet the qualifying limit and qualify for the Olympics. From the world of hard sporting drill, Anna is only relieved by her love affair with Tomas. Without her knowledge, Anna begins to be injected with anabolic steroids. Her performance increases, but the first health problems appear. Anna learns the truth about the steroids and, even though her participation in the Olympics is at stake, she plans to continue training without them. Her mother, however, hopes that Anna will use her participation in the Olympics to emigrate, and decides to inject her with anabolics secretly under the assumption of harmless vitamins.
