A place in the movie
The monastery and the church of the Discalced Carmelites in Przemyśl are one of the most recognizable buildings in Przemyśl, situated on a hill, they dominate the panorama of the city. They are surrounded by a large historic wall. The monastery gate in that wall was used by the filmmakers of the film "Ułaskawienie". A scene was filmed there in which Hanna and Jakub came to the monastery where they wanted to bury the body of their deceased son.
The Carmelite Church is also visible in the film "Zawiłości uczuć". In the opening scenes, Bożenka travels around the city and we see her in Czacki Square, with the Carmelite Church in the background.
