About the movie
The East Slovak region of Šariš lies on the border between Western and Eastern Europe. The documentary depicts the processes of globalisation and their impact on the stories of individuals and the lives of the inhabitants of the Šariš region, which is specific due to the diversity of nationalities and religions. Each of the six different characters represents his or her community. Thus, Šariš, Ruthenians, Roma, Jews, but also people with different identities are represented. The film explores these characters at one end of the world, which is the end of the global world.

- In 2006, the film won the Ecofilm Grand Prize for its honest and convincing portrayal and testimony of the coexistence of people of different nationalities and religions in Šariš in eastern Slovakia - 32nd International Film Festival on Environment, Natural and Cultural Heritage Ecofilm České Budějovice 2006.
- In 2006, the film received the Award of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic - 33rd International Festival of Specialised Films Ekotopfilm Bratislava 2006.
- In 2006, the film received the Festival Director's Award for its sensitive approach to depicting the multicultural world of the Šariš region and its erudite cinematic treatment of the ethnic and generational problems of the region in the past and present - 14th International Festival of Documentary and Video Films on Folk Culture Etnofilm Čadca 2006.

- In 2007, the film was awarded the Igric Prize for Film and Television Documentary Production to Marek Škop for his script and direction of the film testimony of a changing world in the age of globalisation - 18th annual award of the Slovak Film Association, the Association of Slovak Television Producers and the Literary Fund for the audiovisual production of the year 2006.
- In 2007, the film was awarded the Slovak Film Critics Award in the category of other audiovisual production - 15th Slovak Film Critics Award 2007 for Audiovisual Production of the Year 2006 (awarded by the SSN Film Journalists Club in 2007).
- In 2008, the film was nominated for the national film award Sun on the Web 2008 in the categories: best documentary, best cinematography - Ján Meliš, best editing - František Krähenbiel (nominations announced by the SFTA in 2008 for the period 2006-2007).
